I was thinking about Lyrians and how violence actually expresses itself when they aren’t actively being programmed. Let’s just get this out of the gate: war is unnatural to Lyrians as a species. So is cold-blooded murder.
Violence, however, is part of the natural expression for Lyrians. Violence does not automatically beget death (though sometimes it does), and this is something that needs to be understood. The phrase “crime of passion” keeps coming to mind here. Lyrians are a passionate species. We are highly emotional, somewhat possessive of our mates, protective of our families and friends, and do not suffer heartbreak easily. Therefore, physical violence in a state of high emotionality (crime of passion) is something that happens as part of natural expression. But this doesn’t have to result in serious injury. Just witness two boys/young men getting into an argument that gets passionate enough where they come to blows. They scuffle for a few minutes, it’s over, bygones-be-bygones… “Sorry I punched you” “That’s a hell of a right hook.” “Friends?” “Friends.” It’s a thing. It happens. Expand that above scenario into other areas of life—especially any matter pertaining to the heart or protection of the family unit. I could also reference other mammals here, and it would be accurate. Wolf packs skirmish, but do not murder one another. Stags clashing antlers over a mate do not seek serious injury. Rival cats do everything in their power to ritualistically posture each other into submission rather than actually fight. Why would Lyrians be any different? They aren’t. We skirmish. We engage in fisticuffs. Sometimes we have to harm another to protect our people. But none of this results in serious spiritual injury. Because it’s a natural expression of the Lyrian self. Now, the degree to which this is expressed, how it is expressed, and how culturally it is dealt with will vary hugely depending on the society. Some are highly ritualistic about dealing with physical skirmishes. Some take an approach that minimizes physical expressions of violence in the first place. Some are a little bit instinctive about it and let it happen however it happens. Everybody handles it differently. What is NOT natural is the cold-blooded, calculated killing of another Lyrian either as murder or through war (which is just sanctioned mass murder). That’s something that’s taught by other species. It is not part of our natural make up. Why else do you think PTSD occurs in Lyrians incarnated on Earth? It’s because we are not meant for such experiences! We are not made to commit mass murder! It breaks our spirits to do that. It makes the soul want to run away from being incarnated. It doesn’t really result in growth. It results in contraction of the self that can take many years/lifetimes to correct and heal. I also argue that domestic violence is not natural, either. It is why it’s such a serious matter when it comes to societal consequences. We often instinctively wonder “What is wrong with that one that would hit its children or mate?” A valid question, because it’s not something the Lyrian consciousness comes automatically programmed to do. It gets programmed in after the fact. But to say the Lyrian is a fluffy bunny that never has a violent feeling or thought at the core would be a gross mischaracterization. No matter how evolved you are, if you are in a physical Lyrian body, you will be a passionate being. You will desire to express that passion. And it will occasionally overtake your reasoning. It’s just part of the experience. Resist this, and you can expect all that passion to go underground where it can fester and explode outward in unhelpful ways. Better to embrace it as a part of you. Then you can channel it and use it to your advantage. I thank you for your time. Adiamas. —Kyriel Comments are closed.
