Today I want to talk about how all the suffering in your life contains the keys to your shadow. A minor digression at the beginning of this post. First, let me just get this out of the way, because I can't help thinking of it and if I don't say it, I won't be able to focus: "Good woman! Beneath this pillow lies the key to my release!" This is the scene from Robin Hood Men in Tights where our hero is handcuffed to the bed, naked, and the keys to said handcuffs are under a pillow covering another...key. Every time I think of "keys to" anything, this scene comes to mind immediately. And I can't help but to start laughing. I tried to find the clip for you on YouTube, but it's perhaps a little too risqué for PrudeTube. (I will never understand their algorithms. Allow all kinds of fucked up shit to program really inappropriate things for children disguised as children's shows, but naked people on tarot cards and clips from a PG-13 movie are a "no-no"?) I am not so serious a person as you would think. And I am not so prudish a person as you would think. I just keep it all under a thin veneer of control. Most people end up surprised at the jokes that come out of my mind once I feel comfortable. (And bless those who interact with me telepathically on a regular basis. Oh, the thoughts they are subjected too... I love you all so much!) Oh well, keeping everyone on their toes I suppose. But I digress...Now, to the topic at hand, which is actually quite important.
All of the suffering in your life contains the keys to releasing your wounds, traumas, and shadows from past lives. If you have ever wondered why your current life is plagued by endless hardships of varying types, you may be experiencing a lifetime where you are clearing much past life trauma. Each hardship is connected to an experience or series of experiences in a past life that contain the same vibration. As you clear these hardships, you clear all connected experiences in every past life matching it. This is why it's so important to engage with your hardships. Meet them head on. Don't give up, but persevere through them. You are clearing something forever for yourself! Some lifetimes, you do not do so much clearing. You end up with a pleasant, peaceful life where you can happily putter around in your garden, enjoy the sunshine, and sigh in contentment. Life is just easy. I call these "vacation lifetimes". Lifetimes where instead of healing as a discarnate soul, you heal by letting your energy settle in an incarnation. We all have these lifetimes, and sometimes look back on these lives with a bit of envy when we're going through a lifetime of growth. Some lifetimes, you do a tremendous amount of clearing and growing. Those lifetimes where you do, it's like you can't seem to catch a break. You're pushed out of your comfort zone, given tests, given suffering, given every obstacle you could imagine. It's all so you can let go of those stories. It's all so you can achieve even greater awareness as a soul. You're dropping weight and gaining strength. It's like exercising. Exercising hurts, doesn't it. Especially when you're out of shape or growing your muscles. But that hurt is like a good hurt. (Maybe I'm weird, but I find the pain of sore muscles an enjoyable kind of pain.) Because you know you're growing and getting stronger. I think it's entirely possible to shift your perspective sufficiently that you can view every challenge in your life as like that exercising pain. Like the pain of sore muscles. Where a really emotionally painful experience that you overcome successfully is viewed in the same capacity as a sore muscle from strength training. You're growing stronger. It hurts, but the knowing that you are getting stronger feels good. Of course, that does lead to a slightly masochistic streak, but hey... We're all a little weird, right? I thank you for your time.
