How can you tell one from the other? Especially since dreams and astral experiences occur in the same realm of existence. What constitutes a dream? What constitutes an astral experience? What is a dream?A dream is something I would classify as an experience that occurs when your physical self, or primary point of attention, is in a state of deep rest and is working through something using the unconscious mind. Dreams have a quality of being very symbolic, even when they contain coherent stories. There are very clear symbols within the dream that you sense when you wake up and can feel the meaning of. To me, they occur in their own pocket of the Astral Realm, which is to say the Non-Local Universe, that is specific to the individual dreaming. It is your special place created by you, just for you, so you can work through patterns, experiences, and potential futures. As I said before, your unconscious mind is its own Non-Local Universe. It is a pocket reality you can go into with your mind that is not inside your physical body or your mental body. The realm of dream is your soul's workshop for your incarnated self. A dream, therefore, is the experience of your soul being in that workshop. Dreams are extremely important once you realize this. Never discount the importance of every single dream you have, even if it seems trivial. There's something valuable to each and every one. You don't have to understand the entirety of a dream, but recognizing its importance automatically unlocks the information packet given to you upon waking. It's why you remembered that dream! What is an astral experience? An astral experience is something I classify as an experience that occurs in the Non-Local Universe that you consciously become aware of. This can happen when the body/point of attention is at rest, meditating, or while fully conscious and actively doing something. While all dreams are astral experiences (by strict definition), not all astral experiences are dreams. Many who meditate regularly or who are capable of engaging with their imagination are already aware of this. A dream can quickly shift into a full-blown astral experience. Sometimes, what seems like a dream is actually something you are doing in your Non-Local Bodies in the Non-Local Universe, and you have suddenly become aware of it. Lucid dreams, to me, are indicators of you becoming aware of a astral experience that is not merely a dream. By and large, astral experiences, while they may sometimes present symbolically, usually are not symbolically driven the way dreams are. They feel real. They follow much of the logic of the Local Universe. If you have an astral experience of being on a spaceship, you will see objects there that make sense for them to be there. There will be terminals, and you can interact with them. There will be tables, and maybe the screens are holographic, but you recognize what it is. There's a chair, and it's just a chair, not a dream chair that develops hands and tries to grab you. You see? It follows stricter rules than the dream world. DifferentiatingOne of the primary differences between a dream and an astral experience is that the astral experience feels more real. It contains more sensory data. You can smell things, hear things, see things, taste things, touch things and be touched in return. A dream often does not include smell, taste, or touch. Not in the detail that you would equate to the Local experience of those senses.
It features people that you know, even if you have not met them physically, you still know them. You can remember conversations you have, even if they are telepathic or partially telepathic, you still open your mouth and words come out. You remember the words. The conversation makes complete sense and sounds like the sort of conversation you would have in the Local Universe. The world in an astral experience is more structured. Yes, sometimes time is very flexible and you can jump around a lot. The world itself is less flexible than the dream world, and follows similar principles to the Local Universe. This is because the vibrational area of the Non-Local Universe, the Astral, that you are inhabiting in this state is closer to the vibration of the Local Universe. It's one step outside of physicality, and so, by agreement, all those beings in this realm follow many of the same agreements they hold in the physical world. No matter which variation of the Non-Local Universe you are experiencing, do enjoy all that occurs. It's truly a blessing to be able to perceive the Non-Local in any capacity. I say this having been on Earth where that ability is very difficult to open up fully. It's a blessing. You learn to cherish every Non-Local experience as a wonderous expansion to your otherwise exceedingly gelatinous physical world. It's something that makes us old souls remember what it's like to be young souls all over again. I thank you for your time. Adiamas. --Kyriel Comments are closed.
