I've mentioned this multiple times before: emotions are the empath's superpower. I would like to take a little time today to venerate the glory of emotions. All of them. I'm not sure how this will turn out, because my soul is the one driving my fingers on the keyboard this morning, and she's apt to say things I wasn't even aware I wanted to say. So, let's go for a ride. Emotions are energy in motion. This is a common saying that holds true in every sense of the phrasing. Energy, as it flows through your body, generates a spin within the particles of your emotional body, which generates a series of emotions. Each emotion has a particular energetic signature that corresponds to the vibration of the spin generated by incoming energy.
That was a mouthful, but this is how emotions work at the energetic and particulate level. Where does this energy come from? Everywhere. All around you. Outside of you. Inside of you. This energy is consciousness, and when it enters into your particular vibratory field, it becomes part of your consciousness. Your energetic field changes the energy to align with your consciousness, because your consciousness is observing the energy as it arrives. All of this occurs before your incarnated self is fully aware of what is happening. You could say emotions are Source energy as specifically applied to your consciousness in any particular moment. This is how your physical, incarnated self senses Source energy at the unconscious level, through your emotions. This is also why emotions are readily shared among empathic beings--because they are more consciously aware of the connection between their ability to sense Source energy and the interaction of Source energy in their bodily field as emotions. The more aware you become of this, the stronger empathy becomes, simply because the awareness of a thing brings it from the unconscious mind into the conscious mind. The more something exists in the conscious mind, the more powerful it becomes, because you are able to wield it at will. Therefore, becoming aware of your own emotions increases the power of those emotions. You are able to direct that energy into conscious action, thought, or energetic modeling. All emotions, from the lowest vibration to the higher vibration, have within them certain power. The lower vibrating the emotion, the less conscious power it has and the greater unconscious power. The higher vibrating emotion, the greater conscious power it has and the lower unconscious power. All emotions will operate differently when exposed to consciousness and unconsciousness. As an example, fear when made conscious, is not particularly powerful in its influence over your behavior. When you become aware of fear, you automatically start transmuting that fear into its complementary emotion: love. You fear something, because you actually love something else related to it. I might fear falling from a high place, because I love feeling safe. I'm afraid of the fall, not the landing. It's the vulnerability and helplessness of the falling that's scary. Which means I love feeling safe. Which means the key to helping that fear be transmuted is to let myself feel safe while leaning over a precipice (or while straight up falling). I shall no longer fear falling, because I have created the conditions I felt were missing: safety while falling. Yet this same fear, when unconscious, is exceptionally powerful. It can control my life if I let it. If we want to look at the opposite scenario, love instead. Let's say I love something and I'm not even aware I do. This unconscious experience of love is not going to control myself as much, but it will subtly influence it. However, when my love of whatever it is is made conscious, it's like giving a house fire a sudden burst of oxygen. It starts to breathe, grow, become extremely powerful in its generative and creative force. Of course, this makes me wonder "Why is it that a lower vibration emotion is so much more powerful when you aren't looking right at it?" I believe this relates to the universal principle of magnetism (what some call the "Law of Attraction"). Like will attract like. Hmm. But let's turn this corner together, shall we? The unconscious mind is a naturally lower vibrational state for any conscious being. It is all that is lower vibrating than the conscious awareness of the particular soul. Anything that has not been transmuted into awareness, and thereby holds a lower vibration, tends to gather in the unconscious mind. The conscious mind is a naturally higher vibrational state. Anything that was in the unconscious mind is naturally transmuted into its higher vibrational variant when it moves into the conscious mind. Which is why fear automagically turns into love or courage or something similar when you look right at it. It is also why it is so strong when it's in the unconscious mind. The unconscious mind, being a lower vibrational state, allows fear to magnetize other lower vibrating emotions to itself so it can grow and become more powerful. Yet, the moment it is brought into a higher vibrational environment, the higher vibrating environment, through the principle of dominant frequency, changes it. It changes it into a higher vibrating emotion. And that's why transmutation happens. That's why darkness always transmutes into light when it's brought into that light. The higher vibration of consciousness turns everything lower than itself into itself, and because the higher vibration is stronger than the lower vibration (the amplitude of the waves is not only higher, but faster) it dominates the lower vibration and equalizes it. Well, we turned that corner. I hope you enjoyed the experience. I had no idea we'd go this in depth into quantum physics at the end here, but my soul will be my soul. I thank you for your time.
