Divine Alchemy and Transmutation

This topic relates to a previous post discussing the nature of Light and Dark in terms of consciousness. I recommend reading that first to get an understanding of what I will discuss today.

On Earth, alchemy is treated as something fictional, not real, something mythical and made up by people who "didn't understand Science". Maybe on some level that is true. The historical experiences and experiments of what people in the Middle Ages and Renaissance called "alchemy" was the physical predecessor to modern Earth chemistry. However, alchemy and transmutation are very real and most definitely a fundamental function of spiritual development and evolution.

It just depends on the lens you're using to define alchemy. The lens I use today is the spiritual lens.

Alchemy

Alchemy in the spiritual sense is the science of consciousness and how it interacts with itself. In my mind, it's true science, because consciousness is all there is. To become a spiritual alchemist means to become a master of your own self. You are consciousness. You are a fractal of the Great Consciousness that is Source. And therefore, to master your own self is to understand Source itself. Better anyway.

I don't think any single being can completely understand Source, but you can do a great job of understanding your angle of Source. What do I mean by "angle" of Source?

Each fractal of Source is Source reflected at a specific angle. Imagine you are a multifaceted mirror that is turned just so to reflect particular qualities of Source that Source would like to examine in itself. It is why you are the way you are. Source wants you to show It what It is at that angle.

(Question: the word "angel" and "angle" are so close to one another. Are they related linguistically? Angels are angles?)

When you incarnate over and over and over again, your fractal is turned to a different angle. It reflects Source a little bit differently each time, and this is why your soul expands until it becomes your oversoul and then becomes your monad and then just goes back to being Source. Therefore, the more you incarnate, the more of Source you will come to understand because you are seeing more angles and perspectives.

​You therefore become better at alchemy. And specifically, you become better at transmutation.

Transmutation

Transmutation is a practice of spiritual alchemy. It is the act of taking the Dark Unawareness within the Self and bringing it to the Light of Awareness. Bringing something from Unawareness into Awareness makes that Unawareness become Awareness. It's simple quantum physics. You observe a thing, you change a thing.

Therefore, spiritual transmutation is merely observing yourself at the energetic layer. Once you observe yourself, you change yourself.

So, for example, if I have something hidden in my shadow, in my Dark Unawareness, and I bring it to Awareness, it changes. If it is a beneficial quality (and yes, you often have beautiful beneficial qualities hidden in your shadow), then it becomes a part of my conscious self. I imbibe that quality and become it. If it is an unfavorable quality, then it changes to become a beneficial one and I imbibe that quality and become it.

All qualities within yourself have a beneficial side and an unfavorable side. Every single one. There is no quality within you that cannot be changed from one to the other. So, even those unfavorable qualities that you may not like can become beneficial to you. They can become favorable. All you have to do is become Aware of that quality and embrace it as a part of you. The moment you embrace it, you change it to become favorable.

This is Divine Alchemy. This is changing you by observing you. This is how you become your higher self, whichever layer you are currently working on absorbing.

Be not afraid of your shadow. It cannot hurt you. Looking at the hidden parts of yourself will never hurt you. It may feel uncomfortable, but every single time you look with courage and an open heart, you transmute whatever it is into something that is beneficial to you. It will always improve you to look at you!
