A Meme (and Gentle Teasing)

This is a short post just to share this meme. I shall explain...

While sitting in the chatroom for Mari's premiere last night, I had the above meme form in my head. It started out as simply feeling the image with the labels "What Everyone Thinks I Do", "What I Think I Do", "What I Actually Do". I shared that part and I could see it in my mind, but YouTube's infernal chat character limit makes it hard to explain or share things verbally. So, I decided just go ahead and create more or less what showed up today.

Next time, I'll see if I can just straight up share it telepathically. Maybe I can get it to glue together fast enough to share with whomever was prompting the meme in the first place. Because it was a prompt. With a little bit of an ironic smile attached to it.

This is all about Taygetan CIC in orbit.

You see, I'm frequently amused at the way people, even starseeds, react to CIC. There's this energy of putting them on a pedestal like they are untouchable superheroes. There are countdowns in the chat to try to get somebody to respond.

I will admit I find the countdowns annoying. Especially in the middle of a conversation with somebody that's really getting interesting. I understand why that happens, starseeds want to hear and connect. Which is why I don't want to really complain about it. But it's still a little annoying. Like somebody running right up to your ear shouting at the top of their lungs "54321 BOOM! YAY!" so loud you cannot think and lose your train of thought.

Anyway, there's that part.

Then there's how CIC likely sees themselves, and that suddenly felt quite self-evident. Just very clear. I could sense it right off, and it's likely because I have interacted with them enough in the astral at night that I can feel them well enough. Know them well enough. I might not remember what I do, but I trust when I can feel these things.

And the actuality of it is something I can pull from my own experience of engaging in a similar activity. One that is very important, but in practice can be somewhat...well...dull.

The truth of it all is when you blend all three together. All three are true at once.

Which is why it's a joke and not a joke at the same time. Aren't memes fun?
